There are an infinite number of ways to volunteer with GrowIN.

Volunteer on your own, with your friends, your school club, your grandma - everyone!

We have opportunities throughout the organization, so
we guarantee you will make a difference if you choose to volunteer with us!

Be a Volunteer

Our volunteers help prepare and deliver GrowIN programs. We would love to have you volunteer with us!

Here are the steps:

  1. Fill out an application.

  2. Participate in the screening process and complete Volunteer Training and Onboarding.

  3. Share your availability and sign up for volunteer hours.

  4. Volunteer!

Join a Committee

Our committees help move our mission forward. Every person in our committees play a vital part. We currently have the following committees within GrowIN:

  • Programs and Events

  • Nutrition and Education

  • Marketing and Social Media

  • Fundraising and Finance

Volunteer Roles

Volunteer Program Leader. Duties include: 1) Commit to leading a program at least once a month. 2) Share your talents with participants. 3) Prepare and lead a program or series. 4) Delegate tasks to program assistants.
Volunteer Program Assistant. Duties include: 1) Share your talents with participants. 2) Assist with program development. 3) Engage with participants and provide assistance as needed.
Special Event Volunteer. Duties include: 1) Attend large-scale events. 2) Assist with processes like set up/tear down, participant sign ups, merch and program promotion. 3) Engage with participants and assist as needed.
Outreach Volunteer. Duties include: 1) Attend GrowIN events and assist with selling merch and talking with community members about GrowIN services and programs. 2) Assist with connecting and collaborating with community partners.
